[ Where Are They Now? ]

[ 1979 ] Rupert Holmes, the creator/writer of Remember WENN was featured on VH-1's "One Hit Wonders" episode of Where Are They Now? In 1979, he burst upon the scene with his massive hit, "Escape (The Piņa Colada Song)." The segment featured an interview with Rupert, clips of him performing "Escape," as well as his other top ten hit, "Him," (No, Virginia, he really wasn't a one hit wonder), as well as a scene from Remember WENN ("And If I Die Before I Sleep") where the cast's yawning is punctuated by Rupert's comments that he made "coffee for the cast."
